The service includes:

• A 45-minute telehealth appointment with an ABGC Certified genetic counselor who specializes in hereditary cancer and is licensed to practice in your state.

• Based on the test result, specific management options and screening recommendations from the most recent professional guidelines are discussed.

• A three-generation pedigree is obtained to identify family members who may also want to consider genetic testing as well as tips on communicating this information to them.

• The genetic counselor will also explain if any additional genetic testing is warranted.

• Patients receive a summary of the genetic counseling session within two days of the completed appointment.
